Operation management is fundamental as it deals with the whole scope of the business from planning design and managing the whole operation, processes, services and supply chains.

The purpose of operation management; scopes from strategy right up to all operational level, such as raw material, manufacturing, distribution, retailing and consumer. Representative and strategic methodology that concerns and determining the level of risks, are very important for the success of the business as well as

any New Product Development (NPD) extent and location of “manufacturing, deciding the structure of service, networks and designing technology” (Sloan School of Management, 2014). For example innovative company such as Apple which are fully committed to innovation take operational and risk management very serious. Apple “continues to lead the industry by meeting the demands of the market through their rapid innovation”, not only on the computer technology such as OS X operation system as well as professional applications and expansion of service to a new market such as portable video and music players and numerous of innovative technological services and products (Corporation, Apple, 2014).
